Safe and Sound in Patagonia

I am incredibly lucky to be safe and sound AND traveling further south in Patagonia. The huge terremoto and tsunami did not reach us down at Conservacion Patagonica where I was volunteering. We did have a little inconvenience of being without telephone and internet. Today was the first day I had access to either.
My volunteer experience was incredible. We were a group of 12 ranging from 19 years to 68 years. We were all from the states or Chile with one person being from Japan. It was great! I am currently on a trip heading to Torres del Paines. A fellow volunteer and I will go by boat, bus, foot and horseback. We are currently in Villa O'Higgins (the town where the road ends in this part of Chile. It will pick back up more south near Punta Arenas) We are heading towards El Chalten in Argentina and then down south. The views are immense, vast and absolutely glorious!!!! Mountains, snow capped glaciars, rivers, and waterfalls.

please keep us posted on what wonderful adventures you are having so that we may live a little through your hard work and adventures.

Now everybody else do your happy dance because Laura is safe and having the time of her life.

Laura please return the favor. Happy dances can cross continents if done properly.
